Romantic Crystal Chandelier-Decorated Dance Floor

“While some couples get really into preparing intensely coordinated dances, we opted for a low-stress slow dance to an acoustic, stripped-down version of the Hall and Oates classic, “You Make My Dreams Come True.” It was simple and sweet, with just a couple of appropriately timed spins. At the end of the song, Blair went to dip me—something he had done many, many times before. Well, as it turns out, hardwood floors and rental tux shoes make for an especially slick combination. Blair lost his footing and down we both went—hard. Fortunately no one was injured and we were able to very quickly laugh it off,” Laura says. “The best part about it: our photographers managed to capture the whole thing from multiple angles. Some of my favorite pictures from the day are the ones where Blair and I are both on the floor, laughing hysterically.”
