Retro Graphics and Disco Balls Made This Greenhouse Wedding in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Shine

For Chelsea Pfender (29 and a stay-at-home mom) and Montgomery Mercado (33 and owner of a home construction company), planning a wedding was about capturing their fun personalities and unique interests. “We knew we wanted our wedding to be memorable and unique,” the couple says. “We wanted people to see things they’ve never seen before.” Combining the pair’s love of the 70s with motorcycling, Montgomery’s favorite pastime, the duo crafted a modern and playful design with disco ball accents, table numbers made from mirrors, neon signs, bubble vases, black pillar candles and a motorcycle cake topper. 
To start, the duo sent guests invitations with red flowers painted on the front, which they sealed in a bright red envelope with a motorcycle envelope liner to reflect Montgomery’s favorite hobby. Chelsea sported a boho dress with white tassels for her wedding day look, while Montgomery looked dapper in a custom plaid suit. The newlyweds also wore custom embroidered jackets that were tailored by Bill Farrelly, the same designer who makes jackets for Post Malone. At the reception, the newlyweds waltzed to “Leather and Lace” by Stevie Nicks and Don Henley. “We love the message about bringing two pretty, different things together because that’s how we see ourselves,” the couple says. For their centerpieces, the pair compiled an array of roses, peonies, king protea, stock, ranunculus, astrantia, snapdragons, agonies and stance. And for dessert, coated in honey goat cheese frosting and black fondant, the cake captured the groom's passion for motorcycling.
