Religion and Music Inspired This Intimate Greenhouse Wedding at Greenhouse Two Rivers in Highlandville, Missouri
Two things have long defined Rachel and Andrew's relationship: music and caffeine. They me when Rachel was in the church choir, got to know each other over mugs of coffee and became engaged as Rachel sat at the piano. So at their wedding, the bar served lattes instead of booze (which went nicely with the seven cakes on display), and the couple had a first song rather than a dance.
Andrew’s dad, a pastor, officiated the ceremony. The newlyweds led guests in singing “How Deep the Father’s Love for Us.”
Faux silk greenery hung from the 25-foot ceiling in the modern greenhouse where the ceremony and reception took place. “We wanted a simple, naturally beautiful wedding, and this venue was absolutely gorgeous,” Rachel says. White roses and seeded eucalyptus topped tables, where guests chowed down on brisket, pulled pork, creamed corn, cheesy potatoes and baked beans.
