Before Regina left for college at Rutgers, a good friend introduced her to Glenn Harrison, a Rutgers student also from her high school who was one year her senior. Take good care of each other at college, her friend said. And that's exactly what they did. THE BRIDE Regina Masiello, 25, a Ph.D. student THE GROOM Glenn Harrison, 26, a corporate banker THE DATE March 15 Within one year, Regina and Glenn moved in together and the two have been inseparable ever since. Eight years later, Glenn proposed to Regina after a romantic dinner. Although they were engaged for almost eight months, the couple didn't set a date until six weeks before the wedding. Our March date made booking even the most popular vendors easy, and we had such a clear vision of what our wedding should be, so it drove the whole process, Regina says. With a little help from good friends and family, they were able to pull off the quick planning without a hitch.

The three-tier vanilla butter cake was filled with chocolate ganache.
The ceremony set the stage for a beautiful evening: Glenn and Regina proceeded down the aisle together holding hands and, since darkness fell before they started, the whole room was glowing with candlelight. They were married in a civil ceremony written entirely by Regina. In an effort to let the beauty of the restaurant come through (along with the naturally gorgeous landscape), the couple opted to avoid floral decorations of any kind. The pavilion where the wedding was held was rustic; the chairs were covered in beautiful silks, says Regina. And the reception room opened out to a patio and a lake.
Regina wore a strapless ivory A-line gown with champagne accents. Her maids wore cinnamon-color chiffon gowns.
