Brian grew up in New England and I'm Ghanaian, says Regina. So we wanted a celebration that would unite the two cultures. Since vibrant colors are ubiquitous with Ghanaian culture and spring in New England, we wanted our wedding to be vibrant. We chose a citrus theme of greens and yellows for the tables, and my bridesmaids chose an eclectic mix of blue, purple and mango for their dresses, which they donned with gold or tan sandals of their choice.
