Reception Table Decor

Reception tables were covered with ivory accordion-pleated table cloths, and were decorated with bright floral centerpieces of hydrangeas, roses and dahlias. In-lieu of traditional wedding cake, packaged mini cakes with the couple's last name's initial were placed at each table setting for guests to take home. The idea behind these favors was that every time the couple attended a wedding, they'd miss the cake because they would be off dancing. Whether they ate it at the reception or at home, guests could enjoy whenever they wanted.
