When Patrick met Margot on a Cleveland rooftop, he told her he would marry her one day. His future bride was also thinking ahead. “Like many little girls, I grew up dreaming of my wedding day,” Margot says. She pictured the village church, a sweetheart ball gown, a clear reception tent and lots of greenery. Both of their visions came together as the couple exchanged vows outside of St. Christopher by-the-River and celebrated at a historic local club decked out in white roses, ferns and eucalyptus. Margot’s sister stitched a fox head cummerbund for Patrick, a fitting accessory for the hunt-club reception. The dinner menu included beet-and-fennel salad, grilled Angus beef and a classic carrot cake with cream cheese frosting.
