The couple wanted to incorporate their heritage into their wedding as much as possible. In the Czech Republic, where Michael's family originates, rosemary is a traditional component of wedding celebrations. For the escort cards, Renee printed the names of each guest on seed packets filled with rosemary seeds. The packets were then attached to a popsicle stick and placed in a small moss-filled pot.
