Pops of Red Punctuated This Boho Wedding at The Gasparilla Inn in Boca Grande, Florida

In an effort to plan a wedding day that was uniquely their own, Meredith and Blair created, "a mix of a lot of styles...just like the two of us” They dubbed the theme for the event at The Gasparilla Inn "Old Florida Boho” with a color palette of, "black and gold with flowers in a cream to rose to deep red/pink palette.” Another one of the couple’s planning priorities for their Florida wedding was that it be, "a party from start to finish," the couple shares. 
"The decor of our wedding is really thanks to our crazy wedding planner...my mother! And of course our amazing vendors. To bring some 'boho' vibes to the classic Old Florida style of the Inn, we asked our floral designer to use some pampas grass in our ceremony florals. We also got married on a vintage Turkish rug. I loved this idea so that we can always keep the rug in our house and we can say...'this is the rug we were married on.'” Another unique element the couple added to their day was, "a Shot Ski at one of the bars. This was a small way to bring a little bit of Jackson Hole to Florida. And it was quite the hit! We also had a bowl of Florida Lottery tickets for guests to take and, hopefully, get lucky!”
"By far, the most anticipated and special part of our wedding was having all of our friends and family in one place at one time. We both grew up in different areas of the South, went to different colleges, and lived a few places before meeting in Jackson. So having ALL of the special people from each stage of our lives get to meet and be together to celebrate with us was pretty special," recalls the couple.
