Pops Of Color Filled Every Inch of This Art & History Museum Wedding in Maitland, Florida

Milan and Ian do things their way—and they color with every Crayon in the box when doing it. For their wedding, “The color palette was a bit of everything,” Milan says. “I don’t believe in limiting myself when it comes to tradition.” The same could be said for the ceremony, in which Milan and Ian jumped the broom as guests watched from seats covered in brightly colored ribbons. “I wanted pops of color everywhere,” Milan says. After the ceremony, guests sat down to a brunch of grits and biscuits, followed by dancing and champagne. Later, Milan and Ian set off for Disney World, and guests took home custom coloring books full of pictures of the couple on their engagement day.  To make sure guests made the most  of the day’s memories, Milan and Ian asked loved ones to take pics with her Instax Hello Kitty camera and sign their snaps with well wishes. “I am a very, very picky cake eater,” Milan says. The couple met their match in a red velvet cake with peanut butter frosting and watercolor fondant.
