The Atrium of the Cleveland Museum of Art Was the Centerpiece of This Pink Ohio Wedding

NFL player Mitch Trubisky of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Hillary Gallagher celebrated their marriage with a romantic pink-and-silver wedding celebration at the Cleveland Museum of Art in Ohio. After exchanging vows with a ceremony at St. John's Cathedral, the duo welcomed their loved ones to the spacious atrium at Cleveland's art museum for a reception packed with pink and lots of monograms

Hillary shares that she was surprised throughout the wedding planning process by just "how many little details there are to plan to make sure your big day comes together." However, she credits "being honest with your opinions and doing what you want" with helping to ensure the day came together perfectly.

Since the wedding reception space was so large, the couple settled on tall table centerpieces to make a strong visual impact. The designs were comprised of roses, delphinium, hydrangeas, stock and peonies and sat atop elegant blush linens. To add personalization to the day, the couple wove their monogram throughout—from the dance floor to their cake. While the monogram and pink-and-white icing for the couple's wedding cake was impressive on its own, the flavors were equally memorable: white butter cake layered with strawberry-rhubarb, local honey cream and cinnamon streusel crunch.

Hillary recalls that her favorite part of the reception was when "Mitchell said the blessing before everyone ate. It was just so amazing to have all of our friends and family from all over in one place to celebrate our love for each other." After the blessing, guests dined on their choice of beef steak, sea bass or cauliflower steak.

Looking back on the wedding day, Hillary offers this advice to current to-be-weds: "Make sure you enjoy the experience and don’t let little things stress you out. My best advice would be not to get too caught up in having everything perfect the day of. The most important thing is marrying the love of your life and the rest of the details will work themselves out."
