Blush Quilted, Paisley Wedding Cake

Even the couple’s wedding cake incorporated Irish and Indian elements. The top and bottom layers of the three-tier confection was decorated with a pink quilted pattern, while the middle featured an elaborate paisley design. A leprechaun was added to the bottom layer and an "M" for McDermott topped the elegant cake. Neeti and Derek gave guests the choice of two flavors: red velvet and lemon with raspberry filling. “It went quickly,” Neeti says.
