A Rustic Fall Wedding at Washington Grass Inn in Greensboro, Georgia

Brittany Glausier (26 and a teacher) and Blake Sims (29 and a business Owner) met through Greek life at the University of West Georgia. They dated for almost three years before Blake proposed on the beach during a family vacation. As soon as they were officially engaged, Brittany and Blake quickly began planning their rustic fall wedding at Washington Grass Inn in Greensboro, Georgia. Drawing from the season and their old plantation venue, they pair went with an autumnal chocolate brown, red and orange color palette with burlap accents to decorate their outdoor affair. Rustic doors dripping with flowers opened to the intimate ceremony space under a circle of trees. The reception area took place under a covered pavilion, known as the Cotton Ballroom, complete with hanging branches and burlap curtains. "Fall has such pretty colors, so I wanted to be sure to play up the seasonal color palette throughout my wedding," says Brittany. "Between the chocolate brown table clothes, wheat grass, mason jars and twine, I really stuck with the rustic theme!"
