Katy and Gautam's ceremony was deeply personal, with mementos of their relationship included in Katy’s vows. “All in all, music deepens Gautam’s experiences in a way that is so compelling that I just had to find a way to incorporate it into the most important day of our lives,” she says. Her vows reflected his love of music with unexpected interludes of theme songs from their favorite shows, “Friends” and “Game of Thrones.” What made it even better was that Katy's high school music teacher and jazz band director, John Maione, helped her pull it all off with live music.
