Perfectly Romantic Proposal

After driving back from visiting her mom in a terrible storm, Kelly-Ann arrived home to find a note on the door instructing her to go upstairs and put on a dress. Upstairs, Michael had laid out a dress for her. She came downstairs, and rose petals were sprinkled all down the stairs and throughout the house with tealights everywhere. Chocolate-dipped strawberries and a bottle of champagne on ice were on the table, and balloons filled the room—each with a photo of the couple. Kelly-Ann walked to the fireplace to pick up a note that said “lift me,” and then another note instructed her to “turn around,” where Michael was in front of her in his best suit, on one knee with an engagement ring in hand. “It was absolutely wonderful,” Kelly-Ann says. “The rest of the night we drank champagne in our PJs on the couch.”
