Patrycia & Keith: A Blue Wedding in Elkhart Lake, WI

Patrycia and Keith met when Keith was hired to do radio promotions for the weight-loss company where she worked. Keith wound up doing more than just promotions -- He lost a total of 50 pounds, Patrycia says. And that wasn't the only benefit to his stint with the company. When Keith passed along word via her manager that he would like to go on a date with Patrycia, she agreed to it right away. She was soon led on a scavenger hunt through the house, with each note pointing out something special about her relationship with Keith. The last note led her to the DVD player, where she popped in a disk with a photo slideshow of pictures of the couple. It was at that point that Keith himself came out and popped the question. I love the ocean and wanted a destination wedding, but thought it would be hard to get all my friends and family there, Patrycia explains. The next best thing in the Midwest is a lake! She and Keith chose a Wisconsin lake resort that was midway between Patrycia's Wisconsin hometown and where Keith's family lives in Illinois. A palette of light blue and tan -- think water and sand -- brought together the sea-inspired theme.
