It depends on who you ask. “Patricia asked me out,” says Steve. “I met her at work, and she sent me an email asking me if I wanted to watch Hercules with her,” he says. “Of course I said yes!” Patricia tells a different tale: “Steve’s friend had been trying to set us up,” she says. “One day he sent Steve an email asking him out using my email address,” Patricia says. “That’s my story, and I’m sticking to it!” Regardless of who asked whom, both Patricia and Steve agree that their first date in Berkeley was the start of a perfect romance.
