Parisian and Chinese Touches Filled This Callanwolde Fine Arts Center Wedding in Atlanta, Georgia

Stephanie and Parker are avid travelers, and they have the photo booth pictures to prove it—more on that later. Together, the couple planned a wedding that spoke to their many international interests, from Parisian touches to Chinese traditions. Once they found their historic venue, the Callanwolde Fine Arts Center, Stephanie and Parker decided to lean in to romance, particularly that of the French variety. “We wanted to channel the French countryside,” Stephanie says. The pair chose a neutral palette of soft pastels. Before their open-air vows, Stephanie wore a white and gold embroidered cheongsam during the Chinese tea ceremony. To end the night, guests snapped pictures in a photo booth. “Over the years, we’ve collected photo booth pictures from different cities,” Stephanie says. “We thought it’d be fun to share that with our guests.”
“For the cake, we wanted something simple and romantic, but, most importantly, it had to be delicious,” Stephanie says. The pair filled it with a layer of chocolate and peanut butter, their favorite flavors. Roses added soft pastel shades to natural arrangements of ferns and leaves. The flowers filled dark wood boxes, inspired by the architecture and style of the Fine Arts Center. “We really wanted to highlight the building’s design,” Stephanie says. The Callanwolde Fine Arts Center is a historic mansion near Atlanta, which is what attracted Stephanie and Parker to the property. “It’s tucked away and surrounded by trees and greenery,” Stephanie says. “We loved the ambience, the history and the architecture."
