One Couple's Modern Boho Wedding at Chandler's Gardens in Celina, Texas

For their wedding at Chandler's Gardens in Celina, Texas, Jessica and Breandon settled on a garden-meets-boho aesthetic. "Our wedding day was a dream come true! We had been engaged since November of 2019 and we originally were scheduled to get married in 2020 but had to postpone to 2021 due to COVID," explains Jessica. "I’ve always loved the settle colors of sage, coral and ivory and a sucker for macramé. I love the bohemian vibe but with a more timeless look with touches of blush. I felt those tones and the mood fit both Brandon, myself and our family most," explains Jessica of the inspiration for her Texas wedding. 

"For the ceremony, we wanted to keep that simple," notes Jessica. "However, for the reception, we wanted that to wow with volumes of floral details, great food, an amazing DJ and an overall energetic atmosphere. The woven charger incorporated into the tablescape really tied in our bohemian vibes!" To reinforce the boho vibe, the couple even had their wedding cake made to resemble macramé. Further enhancing the wedding design, the duo decorated their reception space with a neon sign that doubled as a backdrop for guests to use when posing for pictures. "That was super fun and doubled as a photo op for our guests and background for our wedding cake," recalls Jessica. 

Looking back on the wedding day Jessica encourages all current to-be-weds to "take a deep breath and hire a bomb wedding planner that will take the pressure off of you and bring your vision to life. Someone who understands you and most importantly listens to you. I don’t know if I would have been able to get through the day without our wedding planner. She lined out every single detail and found every vendor for me."
