One Couple's Colorful-and-Chic Destination Wedding at Grey Oaks Country Club in Naples, Florida

“The initial inspiration was Palm Beach meets Palm Springs to create a tropical black-tie affair,” Kelley says of her colorful Naples wedding to Andy. Incorporating the bright colors of Florida, cabana stripes and lots of palms, the couple, who met through mutual friends, played out their Dorothy Draper–style look. “We wanted the wedding to be formal but not stuffy. The most important thing for us was that everyone had fun,” Kelley says. Pattern and color played a key role in boosting the bright, coastal aesthetic. Kelley directed her 17 bridesmaids to pick something long and tropical. “I ended up loving all of the colors and patterns together!” she says. “My dress was very elaborate, so we wanted to keep the bouquet very simple,” Kelley says. She carried white peonies, ranunculus and pieris.  “The idea for the ballroom was an upscale night club,” Kelley says. The couple achieved the look by draping the room in blush fabric, covering the chandeliers with drum shades and decorating the dance floor with their custom crest.  From the stationery suite lined in pink to the balloon installation in shades ranging from blush to fuchsia at the entrance to the club, “we used a ton of color to incorporate the tropical nature of Florida,” Kelley says.
