Jordan and Zach have a mutual friend to thank for their meet-cute at a birthday party, despite the fact that they barely spoke. “We were both nervous, but I followed him on Twitter and the rest is history,” Jordan laughs. For their wedding at the bride’s grandparents’ home, Jordan and Zach invited a group of family members to witness them wed in a Christian ceremony. Jordan walked down the aisle to “Jurassic Park Theme” by The Piano Guys, and the newlyweds recessed to the tune of the Star Wars soundtrack. “Afterward, we invited all of our friends to come celebrate with us,” Jordan says. “My only flower request was protea,” Jordan says. She carried it along with pampas grass, dahlias and amaranthus. The couple embraced a bohemian vibe, thanks to tropical flora and a desert-inspired palette of sand, blush, aqua and tan. “I’m obsessed with the desert, and Zach loves the beach,” Jordan says. “We wanted to create our own oasis for our wedding that combined both atmospheres.” Macramé placemats popped against gold flatware, and for an added bit of on-theme flair, the couple’s sweetheart table was lined with Himalayan salt rocks, gem stones, succulents and jarred cacti.
