Oatlands Historic House Garden Ceremony
With the Oatlands Historic House's acres of beautiful gardens and grounds, hosting the ceremony outdoors was a given. Julie and Michael gathered their family members and friends in the formal gardens just beyond the 19th-century plantation home, and exchanged vows amid stone urns filled with bright purple, pink and burnt orange blooms. “Because the gardens are so beautiful, they didn’t require much decorating,” says Julie.
