Todd, 39, and Nicole, 34, are both actor/writers who met while performing in a show called “Lobster Boy: The Musical.” “I was smitten,” Todd says. “She seemed to be the one girl in New York City who preferred her rollerblades to taxis.” When Todd asked Nicole to go to the movies, she told him she was free either Wednesday or Friday. “If he chose Friday, then it was a ‘date’,” she says, “and he chose Friday, thank goodness!” After dating for five years, the couple was getting ready for dinner at their favorite restaurant when Todd said he wanted to show her a rough cut of a film they’d shot together. On the screen, however, Nicole saw instead a video of Todd expressing his love and affection for her. After the sweet message, Todd pulled out a vintage Art Deco ring, and before he could ask for her hand in marriage, she screamed, “Yes!” “The most important moment in my life and I jumped the cue!” Nicole says.
