Nicole & Gavin: An Outdoor Wedding in Huntington Valley, OH

When Gavin (who’s also 27) finally asked her out, though, she declined, reasoning that it wasn’t a good idea to start dating someone when she was about to move to Cleveland for grad school. But Gavin wasn’t swayed, and he called her the next day. “When I answered the phone, he sang ‘Dinner and a movie with Gavin, you know you want to go,’” she remembers. “I knew I had to at least go out once with a guy who could make me laugh that much.” They dated for a month before Nicole moved to Cleveland, and Gavin followed one month after that. A year later, he proposed.
