Warm weather vows led the way to dinner and dancing beneath a full moon at Nicole and Dave's outdoor celebration. The Bride Nicole Stevens, a 27-year-old nurse The Groom Dave Sarkett II, a 30-year-old regional sales representative The Date July 31 Nicole was celebrating St. Patrick’s Day in 2001 with friends at Dick O’Dow’s when something, or should we say someone caught her eye: Dave. Of course, it’s hard to miss Dave -- he’s 6' 4 -- but once the two made eye contact the rest was history. “I remember thinking how handsome he was,” says Nicole. “We ended up talking the rest of the afternoon and into the night.” Two-and-a-half years later, Nicole and David were planning an outdoor wedding with a vintage vibe.

The couple married under a handmade arch of grass, green roses, and purple hydrangeas.
“I felt beautiful and comfortable in my Galina gown even though it was 85 degrees that day,” says Nicole.
The Ceremony
Nicole and Dave's ceremony commenced at 5:00 p.m. next to a pond, where white chairs were marked at the aisle with rustic tin cans of eucalyptus and babies breath.
“I still crave it,” says Nicole, of the three-tier round cake filled with raspberry puree and white chocolate mousse.
Nicole's flower girl carried a pomander.
The five bridesmaids wore two-piece dresses with sage skirts and white tops accented with sage bows from David’s Bridal.
The First Dance
After Nicole and Dave's ceremony, everyone headed to the shade beneath a huge white tent on the other side of the pond.
