The festivities kicked off at the New York Avenue Presbyterian Church, where Kate and Nick tied the knot in a ceremony officiated by Kate’s brother. “We were able to have the ceremony in a church that had a traditional feel, and having my brother officiate made it personal and emotional,” Kate says. “He spoke from his heart and delivered a beautiful homily that left few dry eyes in the church that day.”
