Natasha was grabbing takeout for a night in with her grandmother when she and Robert both did one heart-stopping double take. Before she left, Robert asked for her number, and three days later, the pair was inseparable. Four years later, the couple flew to New York for a weekend getaway. Following a day of spa pampering, Robert drove Natasha and her family to Times Square to surprise her with a ring. Natasha was so fixated by the glowing billboards she hardly caught on to Robert’s stunt until she turned to face him…and realized he was down on one knee! The Bride Natasha Bellamy Day, 34, global sales account manager The Groom Robert Williams, 40, IT support specialist The Date March 14 Natasha and Robert wanted to marry in a location that was affordable and convenient for all of their guests, so they chose their hometown of Charlotte. The couple trusted their coordinator to plot every last detail of their elegant but modern wedding -- down to the date! During Natasha’s Breakfast at Tiffany's-themed bridal shower, her father announced the date and time of the wedding to their 75 guests -- and just two hours later, the couple wed!

Floor-length black dresses and violet bouquets of nosegay hydrangeas created a uniformly classic look. The bridesmaids personalized their dresses with varied necklines and materials matching their tastes: silk taffeta, jersey, and satin.
Purple spotlights and gobo lighting with the couple’s custom monogram softly lit white drapes that hung from the ceiling. Vases of mounded white hydrangeas and majolica spray roses added a pop of bright texture to the cocktail and buffet tables.
The groom’s boutonniere matched the white phalaenopsis orchid pinned in the bride’s hair. His purple striped tie coordinated with the ceremony’s midnight color palate.
The bridal bouquet was a fresh, all-white mix of hydrangeas, phalaenopsis orchids, sweet peas, hyacinths, freesia, tulips, and majolica spray roses with lily grass loops and crystal accents.
Robert and his groomsmen wore black tuxes and royal purple ties. Smoky spray rose boutonnieres were fastened to the groomsmen’s lapels.
The ceremony took place on a theater stage draped with white curtains highlighted by purple lights. A friend of a friend officiated.
Eggshell satin shoes with a thin strap across the toes and ankle completed the bride’s clean look.
For the couple’s first dance, jazz artist Tanya Ross performed the classic Etta James song “At Last.” The lyrics described how Natasha felt about finally finding her husband.
Natasha’s cousin, a makeup artist, used neutral tones to give the bride a fresh, natural appearance. Her hairstylist pinned a white phalaenopsis orchid in her hair to glam it up.
