Naked Cake With Vanilla Buttercream and Strawberries

After a lunch of tea-party-inspired fare, including tea sandwiches, salads and scones, guests indulged in a slice of white cake with vanilla buttercream and strawberries. Tying into the day’s British undercurrents, the cake was inspired by Emma’s love of Victoria sponge cake.
