Molly & Massimo in Hingham, MA

Molly first met Massimo while she was working for the Big Sister Association in Boston. Massimo was the tech service provider at the time and made weekly trips to the office. Since it was an all-female office, Massimo's presence made quite an impression, says Molly. A coworker convinced both of them to ask the other out and eventually they scheduled a dinner. Despite neither being ready for a relationship, the two realized their unique perspectives on life and love made them a perfect match. The Bride Molly Long, 32, writer for a travel company The Groom Massimiliano Massimo Mastantuono, 34, system engineer The Date October 12 The couple knew they were destined for marriage, but the proposal didn't come until a two-week vacation in China. Massimo found the perfect ring before the trip. Then one rainy day, Massimo encouraged Molly to keep her chin up during their climb of China's Great Wall. Molly was taking photographs when she heard rustling behind her. She turned to find Massimo on bended knee. He slipped the diamond on her finger and asked, Jia gei wo ba? Molly quickly learned it meant, Will you marry me? in Chinese. The couple soon found themselves planning the sophisticated wedding of their dreams.
