Courtney was watching auditions for West Side Story at Shorter College in Rome, Georgia, when the sound of an amazing male singing voice stopped her in her tracks. “I looked up and saw Josh for the first time and that is when my pursuit began,” says Courtney. While that was the first time she laid eyes on Josh, Courtney later learned Josh already knew who she was, and he didn’t have a very high opinion of her. The Bride Courtney Foster, 24, actress The Groom Josh Donahue, 24, actor The Date January 18 “A friend of his (in high school) asked me out. Apparently I rudely turned him down, though I have absolutely no recollection of that ever happening,” says Courtney. Later, during West Side Story rehearsals in college, Josh got to know the real Courtney. It took awhile to get to their first date, but when they finally went out sparks flew. Josh proposed to Courtney three years later.

Orange Reception Linens
To follow the green in the color scheme and match the bouquets, Josh donned a single, green cymbidium orchid on his lapel.
The centerpieces followed the orange-and-green color scheme with silver pitchers filled with orange roses, spider mums and green poms. Bright orange linens covered the tables with a hint of metallic sheen.
The ceremony and reception were held in the same space, but a set of sheer white drapes separated them effortlessly. Two live evergreen topiaries framed the aisles with orange ribbons trailing down either side. A green paper lantern, attached to tangerine-and-lime striped ribbon, hung from each chair along the aisle.
Green satin ribbon wrapped around each base of the five-tiered cake. White buttercream swirls added texture, while a grouping of green Yoko Ono mums and orange roses added a burst of color on top.
As a vibrant contrast to her bridesmaids' orange flowers, Courtney carried a bouquet of green cymbidium orchids, spider mums, poms and green parrot tulips.
Courtney wanted her bridesmaids to have a say in their dress style, so she let them choose from a variety of leaf green, silk shantung designs. The ladies all wore gold shoes and carried vibrant orange bouquets.
