"We wanted a modern, urban wedding in the land of country clubs and A&M-themed groom's cakes," Monica says of their wedding vision. Allison Johnston, who designed the couple's save-the-dates, invitations, programs and menus, completely picked up on the vibe the couple were after. "I used to keep the save-the-dates on my phone and just look at them to feel happy and better about wedding planning," Monica says. "They were completely stunning. Allison is a gifted artist, but honestly, she felt like a gift to me. She was the easiest person in the whole process to work with and it was the only part that was really fun."
