Brooklynites Christina and Aaron met at church and got to know each other through weekly dinner gatherings at Christina’s apartment. They even eventually celebrated their engagement with a rooftop meal. So for their wedding near Christina’s hometown of Austin, it was fitting that they ring in married life with an intimate dinner party that they describe as “minimal, modern and a little bit country.” The outdoor ceremony gave guests sweeping views of Contigo Ranch and the surrounding Hill Country. Christina and Aaron co-designed everything from their invitations to their table numbers, then printed the day-of pieces on seed paper.  Christina asked her crew to wear the LBD of their choosing. “The black dresses looked so beautiful and were super low-key,” she says. Figs and berries decorated the larger dulce de leche cake covered with cream cheese frosting, while a smaller salted caramel carrot cake was dubbed the groom’s cake.
