Melanie & Hendry: An Elegant Wedding in San Franisco, CA

Melanie and Hendry share a passion for travel, so they chose a journey of life theme for their September wedding. And since the reception took place at Waterfront Restaurant, a sophisticated seaside celebration was born. The coincidences didn’t stop there. While on a break from college, they each decided to return to Indonesia for vacation, where a mutual friend introduced them. An instant attraction was felt, says Melanie. When they returned to the States, Hendry began driving from Los Angeles to San Francisco to visit Melanie every two weeks, until he finally moved up for good. Five and a half years later, the couple took a trip to Lake Tahoe, where he proposed on the beach under the stars.
