Melanie & Bryce: An Outdoor Wedding in Coolidge, GA

Melanie and Bryce were seeing other people when their mutual friends introduced them in 2002. Five years later, though, they were unattached when they ran into each other at a bar. They talked the entire night and the next week, they went on their first date. While Bryce was getting drinks, another guy approached Melanie and asked her out. To make him go away, she pointed to Bryce and said he was her husband. When Bryce returned to their table, Melanie said he should pretend they were married if that guy came by. He said, You just asked me to marry you. She told him that she didn't, but she'd say yes if he asked her. So he did! I wasn't sure if he was serious or drunk, says Melanie. But, explains Bryce, It was the most sobering experience of my life. Two days later they bought a ring, and six months after that, they held their fall-themed wedding on Bryce's family's farm.
