At Meghan and Matt's summer wedding in San Francisco, guests dined and danced while overlooking the Golden Gate Bridge. The Bride Meghan Smith, 31, project manager The Groom Matthew (Matt) Ingle, 31, recent graduate The Date June 11 Though Meghan and Matt met in a project management class, the two didn’t really connect until a year later when Meghan and her friend spotted Matt at a bar and challenged his friend and him to a game of pool. Though their friends didn’t hit it off, (“and we never did finish the game,” Meghan says), she and Matt did. Luckily, Meghan and Matt followed through with their romance better than their pool game, and the two went on their first date a week later. One night after two years of dating, Matt rented a tux, picked up Meghan in a limo, and treated her to a wonderful dinner. Meghan was more than a little suspicious. “She suspected I was going to propose, and it was torture for her to wait until the end of the evening,” Matt says. Of course, all good things are worth waiting for, and Meghan happily accepted Matt’s proposal. The two were married a year and eight months later at a banquet club.

Meghan and Matt loved the Chapel of Our Lady’s floor-to-ceiling windows behind the altar, its ornate blond wooden arches across the ceiling, and its close proximity to their reception site.
Meghan wore a strapless white A-line gown by Watters Bride. The top layer was made of silk organza embellished with beaded roses.
The Accessories
Since neither Meghan nor Matt are huge fans of cake, the couple worked with their caterer to create a cupcake and chocolate-covered strawberry tree. A small cake was placed on top for cutting.
Meghan carried a bouquet of mostly white and cream peonies.
