Twice, randomly, Megan and Phil met in two different bars -- once on Valentine’s Day during a night out with the girls and then again four years later on Memorial Day weekend. The Bride Megan Simpson, 31 and an autism therapist for her own practice, JuneApril Way, LLC The Groom Phil Cobin, 47 and bar manager at Chef Mo’s The Date May 22 Megan’s Vera Wang gown and her favorite shade of yellow inspired the vintage, rustic elegance of their wedding. They also used lots of peonies -- the bride’s grandmother’s favorite flower. Touches of soft green, white, and ivory rounded out the color palette.
