The Bride Megan Young, 25 The Groom Greg Davis, 27 The Date April 12 The only problem? Greg hadn't proposed! After graduation, Greg got a job in Houston while Megan finished up school in Austin. Finally, after six years of dating, Greg decided it was time to pop the question. While he and Megan were out for a walk around the city after dinner, Megan stopped to read an inscription on a statue. Greg saw it as the perfect opportunity to propose, so he got down on one knee and pulled out the ring box. He and Megan were so wrapped up in the moment, neither of them noticed it was raining! After the proposal, they got to work on planning a date. Greg's only request was that they not get married during the fall, since he didn't want to miss a Texas Longhorn football game. Megan admits that they never really settled on wedding colors, but it was important to both her and Greg that their wedding be charming and sophisticated.
