Megan & Eric: A Traditional Wedding in Pittsburgh, PA.

Megan and Eric's chance encounters eventually led to a classically beautiful wedding at an historic train station. The Bride Megan Cartwright The Groom Eric Voll The Date May 20 Megan Cartwright and Eric Voll had a few chance encounters before they hit it off, though neither remembers them all. Megan (a 25-year-old research assistant and counselor) and Eric (a 26-year-old manager and marketing director) were first introduced at a party in high school through Eric’s cousin. “I was too shy to talk to him,” Megan says, “and he really doesn’t remember me from that night.” The two met again when they went to the movies with a mutual group of friends, but “I don’t seem to remember Eric from that night!” Megan says. They made much more lasting impressions on each other when they reconnected after Megan graduated from college, and, in what turned out to be the perfect match, the two were paired as bridesmaid and groomsman at Eric’s cousin’s wedding. The couple soon began dating, and two years later Eric surprised Megan with a romantic picnic in an apple orchard. On a hill amidst the apple blossoms, “Eric asked me to marry him!” Megan says. A year later, the pair married in The Pennsylvanian, an historic train station in Pittsburgh.
