As an experienced lifeguard for the Stone Harbor Beach Patrol, Zac's relationship with rookie Maura was strictly professional whenever the two patrolled the same beach. That all changed one rainy day, however, when Maura passed the time with Zac over a game of Trivial Pursuit. Zac and his friend had played the game countless times and had memorized the answers. “Needless to say, Maura thought we were pretty smart,” Zac says. The reception took place in the Hall’s ballroom, where the distressed black-and-white checkered wood floor, Tiffany blue walls, and black chairs exude drama. Pinpoint lighting drew attention to three different-size centerpieces filled with flowers in the couple’s summer sorbet hues.
Guests could also enjoy the weather on an oceanfront veranda, where high and low tables were covered in fun black-and-white polka-dot tablecloths.

Maura’s seven maids wore sleeveless V-neck dresses accented with scalloped detailing and carried tight bouquets of mango and raspberry roses. The bride walked down the aisle wearing a three-piece gown by Monique Lhuillier: The dress included an ivory Chantilly lace top, a gathered ball gown skirt with layers of honey-colored organza, and a gold satin cummerbund that tied in a long bow.
The bride carried an oversize composite bouquet with green hydrangea, lime green cymbidium and dendrobium orchids, and various sizes of raspberry and orange roses, while the maids’ bouquets exemplified the sorbet-color palette with alternating raspberry rose centers with a mango collar and mango centers with a raspberry collar.

Maura and Zac brought their updated vintage vision to life with toile table linens (very classic), decorated with a black and white swirl design (very modern).
