Malinda and Chad met through a mutual friend one summer. Malinda was doing an internship in Connecticut and Chad was working in Manhattan. When Malinda came into the city to meet up with Chad and their friend, she accidentally left her bag at Chad's apartment. He kindly took the train out to Connecticut later that week to return it to her. We ended up going out to dinner and the next week I called and asked him out on a real date, she remembers. It was printed with reverse letters but when she looked in the mirror she realized they spelled her name. Chad then told her to close her eyes again.
