Magical Winter Beach Wedding in Carillon Beach, Florida

Carillon Beach holds a profound meaning for Kristen and Will. “I grew up vacationing in Carillon, and, as a young girl, I always imagined getting married there someday,” Kristen says. Will proposed to Kristen in Carillon as the sun set, and four months later, the couple said their vows in the same spot under a circular arch draped in greenery. When it came to décor, Kristen and Will let the location lead the way, finding inspiration in the beige and white shades of the sand as well as the area’s greenery. “I wanted to capture the magic of the beach,” Kristen says. The pair felt that very magic during their vows as the sun set over the beach again. “It felt more than special,” Will says.
Guests stepped from the sand of Carillon Beach to nearby The Meeting House, which Kristen and Will draped in wispy, organic greenery. Trailing arrangements of white lilies, peonies and roses connected the tables, which formed an intimate U-shape. “We wanted the setup to bring the entire group together,” Kristen says. Guests ate a mix of indulgent salty and sweet snacks at cocktail hour, including grilled cheese and tomato bisque shooters and brown sugar bacon brittle. 
At the reception party, Kristen rocked Nike Air Jordan 1s, her signature sneakers, which also served as her something blue.
