Mae & S'el in Brooklyn, NY

Mae Ann Siegel and S'el Rey David have spent a lot of meaningful moments at the beach. When Mae suggested a romantic walk on the sands in Mexico he jumped at the chance. Recounting the story, Mae says S'el often pipes in that she set everything up for him -- but she was truly shocked when S'el dropped to one knee and proposed. The Picnic House was one of our first choices because we live in the neighborhood and spend lots of time in Prospect Park, Mae says. We also wanted to be married in a spot that we could return to again and again. From there, the stage was set for an autumn wedding in the park -- complete with a relaxed, casual feel.
