Lush Summer Wedding with Lilac Infused Florals
Stephanie Kozinski (28 and a PR manager) is used to planning parties and events for work, so it was only natural for her to take the lead on planning her wedding to Eric Schneider (32 and a senior manager of operations). “I’ve gotten to know so many vendors and the different ways to bring my ideas to life,” Stephanie says. “My imagination can go wild.” One of those big ideas: The couple loves taking trips to Charleston, so they wanted to bring the city’s essence to Jersey. The pair picked The Ryland Inn because of its charm, and filled the venue with pastels and floral prints for more Southern vibes.
Pastel shades of blue filled the reception space, from the pale-blue goblets to the more vivid table numbers and plates. For a subtle pop, Stephanie and Eric finished the place settings with lavender sprigs. Blooms were Stephanie’s top priority when it came to decorating, with greenery and roses covering the ceremony arch and stock flower hanging from the inn’s mantel. Guests filled flutes with bubbly from a prosecco van.
After the ceremony, Stephanie traded her long Lazaro gown for a short, party-ready dress with a bubble hem. CAKE Guests ate slices of funfetti cake, Eric’s fave, topped with buttercream and ranunculus. The newlyweds offered guests three unique drink options, including Eric’s pick, a bourbon and muddled strawberry sip, Stephanie’s choice, a tequila and OJ drink, and The Charleston, the pair’s vodka and pomegranate juice cocktail.
