Lush Greenery Filled this Hudson Valley Wedding at the Roundhouse in Beacon, New York
For their Hudson Valley wedding, Vicki and Javin softened the industrial Roundhouse, a former hat factory, with lush flowers, greenery and deep colors. “We wanted it to feel like a juxtaposition of sleek and modern with romantic elements,” Vicki says. “It made for an eye-catching aesthetic.” They paired ghost chairs with textured centerpieces, and hung wisteria and delphinium from the Lucite chuppah, which reflected the sunset. Vicki carried roses, calla lilies, ivy, ruscus, ferns and passion flower vine.Vicki’s sister paired roses, blue thistle and ferns with her mustard-yellow gown
.Tall centerpieces held roses, ivy and palm leaves. During cocktail hour, guests checked out the nearby waterfall and grazed on fresh fish crudo and fried Brussels sprouts with sesame and chili flakes. Vicki and Javin also served blini and black caviar in honor of the bride’s Russian heritage. The newlyweds opened the dance floor to “Operator” by Jim Croce.
