Friends through college, Liz and Zack didn’t become a couple until the fall of their senior year at the University of Colorado. Liz had spent a semester abroad, and while she was away, Zack realized how much she meant to him. One night while on the way home from a party, they came across a playground and hit the swing set, where they shared their first kiss. For their wedding, a neutral palette of creams, whites, and taupe provided an elegant organic backdrop.

Liz carried a bouquet of ivory garden roses, mini calla lilies, hydrangeas, Cattleya orchids, and pale green cymbidium orchids, hand-tied in a white ribbon.
Each table was named after one of Liz and Zack’s favorite places, including addresses of their childhood homes and special places in Colorado, Massachusetts, and New York. The table name cards were printed on ivory linen card stock, stamped with gold flowers, and tied at the top with brown raffia ribbon.
Liz’s niece wore an ivory dress with a cream-colored satin ribbon and carried a small moss-covered basket filled with white daisies down the aisle.
Liz’s bridesmaids carried nosegays of ivory garden roses and ivory hydrangeas. Each bouquet was hand-tied with white ribbon and coordinated with the bridal bouquet.
The ceremony took place in the Wolffer Estate Vineyard underneath a huppah made from birch branches and draped in sheer white fabric. Two large urns filled with white hydrangeas, lilies, greens, and wheat decorated the altar.
Liz and Zack’s reception took place on the back patio of the Wolffer Estate, which was strewn with large, white paper lanterns. The tables were set with ivory linens and burlap runners to create an elegant outdoor setting.
Liz and Zack’s escort cards were hand-written and tucked into corks for each guest. Each place setting held a menu tucked into a white napkin and was accented with a fresh sprig of rosemary -- the couple’s favorite herb.
Liz designed the ceremony programs, which were printed on ivory linen paper, tucked into an ivory linen cover stock, and tied off with brown raffia ribbon.
Liz and Zack’s wedding cake was a three-tiered, round, lemon cake with raspberry filling covered in white buttercream and decorated with bands of raffia ribbon and green cymbidium orchids.
