Lisa and Todd met at a reading in Brooklyn. Todd caught Lisa’s attention while he was on stage telling a story about an ex-girlfriend, and after he sat down, Lisa kept her eyes on him. Todd, who had noticed Lisa at the beginning of the show, was doing the same thing, specifically noting what made Lisa laugh. When the show ended, they introduced themselves to each other, got drinks with a group of people, and exchanged websites. They started dating soon after.
