David Garza, the couple's favorite band since college, sang one of his songs, Flower, for the first dance. The night ended in the same personal fashion -- David played acoustic songs at a table reserved just for Lisa and Scott.
The Ceremony
Following the traditional ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church, Lisa and Scott escaped under a stream of rose petals into their getaway car, a white Mercedes convertible, which we drove right back to the church, Lisa says, to take their first portrait as husband and wife.
Lisa wore a strapless A-line, white silk gown with a cathedral-length veil.
Following the ceremony the 190-person party arrived at the reception site, amid towering dinosaurs. Lisa and Scott complemented the funky skeletal reception site with a clean white decor. Different sizes of glass containers filled with white ranunculuses and white roses were set on the white table linens. The space was so interesting, it didn't need a lot of decorating, Lisa says.
