As it would turn out, the host of that party, Nick, was the guy she'd been waiting for. On some tables, vases in varying heights and shapes were filled with Kermit Mums, hydrangeas, hypercium berries, cymbidium orchids and anthuriums. Others had tall cylinder vases filled with Bells of Ireland.
The couple recited traditional vows underneath an arch of hanging amaranthus, hydrangeas, orange and white roses and other fresh greens.
The couple had their first dance to Stand By Me, by Ben E. King. For the last dance of the night, guests were invited up onto the dance floor to sing Sweet Caroline— one of the couple’s favorite songs.
The escort cards matched the invites, programs, and other paper elements, and were displayed on three wooden boards covered with green fabric and rows of bright green fabric.
Lindsey carried a lush bouquet of phalaenopsis orchids. The blooms were tired with a satin ribbon that matched the sash on her gown.
The bright bridesmaid dresses from J.Crew had a strapless neckline and fell just at the knee, making for a fun and flirty look.
Shimmery ivory paper was centered on orange and green paper and printed with the couple’s monogram and program information. This paisley pattern was also used in the save-the-dates and invitations.
Before speeding off to their honeymoon in the Bahamas, Lindsey and Nick made their big exit as guests held up white sparklers.
Bright orange fabric hung from the ceiling adding a burst of color to the tent. A light reflected a leaf pattern on the walls and ceiling to add a warm, romantic glow. The same leaf print appeared on the chairs.
