The Bridal Bouquet
Tables were set up on the grounds of the country club overlooking the golf course. Paper lanterns and votives on the tables and hanging from the walls created a romantic glow.
The couple bought 200 pears, one for each guest, from Trader Joe’s just days before the wedding. They had tags printed on faux leaves that read “Perfect Pear.” The favors doubled as table decorations and matched the couple’s colors perfectly.
The couple rode from the ceremony to the reception in a family friend’s 1940 Buick Roadmaster convertible. After the reception, a bus carried guests to Muldoon’s Irish Pub, the place where it all began for Lindsay and John.
The bride and groom danced their first dance to Van Morrison’s “Have I Told You Lately.”
The Escort Cards
The groom’s aunt arranged the centerpieces. Everyone agreed that a natural, loose feeling worked best for the occasion and the location. The arrangements included hydrangeas, dahlias, tuberoses, white lilacs, roses, seeded eucalyptus, and peonies.
