Leah & Luke: An Outdoor Wedding in Tucson, AZ
Luke Guerra had spent months choosing the perfect ring and planning his proposal to Leah Andrews: He arranged for a limousine to pick her up in the morning and take her on a drive along the Pacific Coast Highway before dropping her off on a scenic bluff overlooking the ocean. Luke was waiting there to open the car door, and as soon as he walked her to the edge of the bluff, he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him. Many of their friends and family were traveling to the wedding from all over the world, so the couple wanted to include a number of local touches to their day. “In addition, Luke has Mexican heritage, and we wanted to incorporate that as well,” Leah says. The two chose a brightly hued palette and a menu of Southwestern and Mexican favorites -- including a signature prickly pear margarita for the cocktail hour. The result was a supremely festive celebration.
